A digital to analogue converter or DAC is able to capture and supports resolutions up to 1080p. RS PRO has designed these digital to analogue converters to have a black ABS shell and nickel connectors to provide long-lasting and durable DACs. DVI-D is a digital only connection and cannot be used with a VGA monitor unless it is actively converted to an analogue signal. DVI-I can carry either digital or analogue signal, the graphics cards controls the signal type. DVI-D and DVI-I are also split into two types of cable, dual link and single link.
