Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d) bouwt voort op de bestaande ondersteuning voor virtualisatie met IA-32 (VT-x) en de Itanium® processor (VT-i), en voegt nieuwe ondersteuning toe voor I/O-apparaatvirtualisatie. Intel VT-d kan eindgebruikers helpen om de beveiliging en betrouwbaarheid van de systemen te verbeteren en kan betere prestaties van I/O-apparaten in een gevirtualiseerde omgeving opleveren.
Via Intel® Remote Management Module kunt u beveiligde toegang krijgen tot servers en andere apparaten en deze beheren vanaf elke netwerkcomputer. Externe toegang biedt een voorziening voor extern beheer, inclusief energieregeling, KVM en media-omleiding, met een eigen netwerkkaart (NIC).
Intel® Intelligent Power Node Manager is een ingebouwde platformtechnologie waarmee de regeling van stroom en warmte voor het platform wordt uitgevoerd. Deze technologie heeft een externe interface voor beheersoftware waarmee u platformbeleidsregels kunt opgeven, zodat u stroom- en warmteregeling voor datacenters kunt instellen. De technologie maakt tevens specifieke gebruiksmodellen voor energiebeheer van datacenters mogelijk, zoals stroombeperking.
Intel ® Rapid Storage Technology enterprise (Intel ® RSTe) biedt prestaties en betrouwbaarheid voor ondersteunde systemen met SATA-apparaten (Serial ATA), SAS-apparaten (Serial Attached SCSI) en/of SSDs (solid state drives) voor een optimale zakelijke opslagoplossing.
Intel® Fast Memory Access is een bijgewerkte Graphics Memory Controller Hub-backbone-architectuur (GMCH) die de systeemprestaties verbetert door het gebruik van beschikbare geheugenbandbreedte te optimaliseren en de latentie bij geheugentoegangspogingen te reduceren.
