For this reason, its important to maintain the 350 MHz speed of the cables when coupling two Cat5 ends. The wiring boxes include PCB-mounted punch-down blocks which offer an ultra-tight connection between cables. The components are housed in a 25 mm wide plastic case with strain reliefs that allow cable flexibility. Its easy to follow a wiring sequence with connections clearly marked on the case. Finally, two easily accessible ports allow for a simple, straight-through connection.
