RS PRO Antistatic Gun IoniserThis antistatic gun ioniser from the RS PRO range can be used to neutralise static charges on workstations or components that cant be grounded with an earth strap or grounding mat. This eliminates the risk of electrostatic discharge that could damage equipment. The ionised air gun doesnt need batteries or a power supply. Simply squeeze the trigger to create positive ions and release it to create negative ones. It has a life expectancy of 50,000 operations and comes complete with an ion detector. As part of the RS PRO range, the ioniser has been stringently tested by engineers. It meets ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards.
