Rotary Cam Switches can be used for many switching and control applications, for example as ON-OFF, main, main/control, or instrument switches. The device consists of a hand actuator, the switch unit and the mounting accessories. This range of cam switches is also suitable for use in applications where there is a need to manually power down and disconnect electrical equipment for servicing and maintenance by cutting the power supply to isolated parts of the circuit. These cam switches can also be used as safety switches. With an IP65 degree of protection, the devices are suited to hard-wearing industrial environments with a rated uninterrupted current of up to 20 A.
