To avoid this issue its crucial to store any electronic components in ESD-protected boxes, including when in transit. For protection, the case is lined with 6 mm high-density foam in the base. The plastic outer case is made from polypropylene (PP), which promises 24-7 shielding due to its highly-conductive properties.
