It has a thumb pull to make handling easy and tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts for precise electrical connections. The female component fits 0.6 mm square headers with a minimum recommended header length of 4.3 mm. It’s encased in black glass-filled PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a strong thermoplastic that provides good insulation as well as protection to the device. This housing is also UL (Underwriters Laboratories) 94 V rated, guaranteeing its flame retardant properties. It has two contacts and is straight with a closed top.
