Belts and pulleys can be quickly and effortlessly identified with the groove gauges. They also enable pulley groove edges to be tested for angular deviation and wear. It is possible to mark the belt clearly and legibly with details such as sizes, symbols etc. using the special ballpoint pen with silver ink. Pressing with your thumb – to ascertain belt tension – is not required using the OPTIKRIK tension gauge.
