ABB Surge Suppressor UnitThe ABB OVR series surge suppressor unit is a protective device to ensure that electrical equipment is not damaged by a sudden voltage spike. It has an electrical rating of 296V and 20kA. It is a combined category D, C, B tested protector specifically designed for telecommunications applications. For use at boundaries up to LPZ 0 to protect against flashover (typically the service entrance location) through to LPZ 3.
