A spring on the receptacle engages with a ramp in the connector housing and prevents disconnection when the wire is pulled. A locking latch on the receptacle engages in a locking hole in the mating tab terminal for a secure connection. When the tab is inserted into the receptacle an audible ‘snap ‘ is produced to confirm a secure connection.
