5 inch LCD Display Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi (gen4-uLCD-50D-PI). The 4 D Systems SK-gen4-50D-PI is a Starter kit for use with Raspberry Pi. The Kit offers a Diablo16 integrated 5.0 display module with some hardware included. The Gen4 module has a non-touch display and allows you to explore the 4D Workshop4 environments and access all the features to assist user application. With the Designer environment, you can use all the features of the display. The user may want to use a micro-SD card for displaying images, video and sound. Data logging can be achieved via a programming cable or adapter allowing downloading of compiled code and PmmC/Firmware updates. The ViSi and ViSi-Genie environments are similar and they are image-based which need a micro SD card as well as a programming cable. There is no micro SD card requirement or programming cable for the Serial environment once it is been configured as a Serial device. The micro SD card can be used though for storage or even changing to one of the other program environments. The Raspberry PI compatible 5.0 in Diablo16 display module works with 4D Programming Cable, uUSB-PA5-II and 4D Arduino adapter Shield-II.
