The vibrating fork sensors operate by oscillating two forks at their natural frequency in air. When submerged in a medium, the frequency changes and triggers a response from the level switch. These vibrating point level switches have many advantages including minimal maintenance and installation requirements. Also, they do not need calibration on commissioning.
